In Japan, in USA and South Korea it is already live day-to-day, high-definition television is nowadays becoming more popular in
Europe.
HDTV sensational
high-resolution pictures in 16 : 9 formate. This picture-format is more natural for human eye-view angle.
HDTV is impressive due to its sharpness, brilliant colours and high contrast ratio.
However, to achieve such good quality results the whole chain of processing needs to be of the appropiate resolution standard, from recording, production to playing, all need to be at HD standard.

HDV- Cameras
A camera in HDV has a resolution of 1280 x 720 Pixel and up to 1920 x 1080 Pixel. The formats are mostly MiniDV / DV Band recording on digital firestore-recorder. Formats are 16 : 9.
The capacity of a firestore-recorder is up to 270 min.
z.B. Typical type are JVC GY-HD110, GY-HD251, Sony HVR-Z1E.
